5/30/2023 0 Comments Swann security camera system![]() ![]() I have Arlo cameras on my other house and I can adjust the cameras so many different ways from the app. I feel as though the the product is good, because from the NVR and monitor it works great, but the app is terrible. So one camera will leave 50 videos a day and zero for the others. On that, there’s always one camera that constantly records video for playback and the others don’t. It worked fine for a few days and then another camera disappeared. I did an overhaul on the system a few weeks ago, even replacing Ethernet cables. Then miraculously come back days or weeks later. I’ve had 3 cameras that worked just fine and then they disappear from my app. The other issue I have is that it constantly drops cameras. Even then, it takes a long time to watch the video because it starts and stops, over and over. Recently I find I need to switch from mobile to high just to review it. Often it can take one to two minutes to do a playback. The cameras went up easy and set up was easy. I bought this camera system for a vacation property so I could monitor it while not being there. Apologies that we still haven't fully resolved things for you, but we are working on it as quickly as possible. ![]() I have shared your comments with our development team as your detail around firmware versions & the comparison between your two systems will be very helpful in diagnosing the source of the problem. The better picture quality is making se very difficult to play playbacks Even though we have very broad band widths on our Wi-Fi’s and servers. We are using the newer 887 cameras only on some locations. So please simply make available notifications control to be on/off regardless of event. We use only only human/vehicle analytics and face recognition. Motion is being phased out in the industry to more advanced events and triggers. Please please make to modes work for any notification not just motion. We have no camera control at all with the App. Your hard work is useless to all of us that use the more advanced cameras with intelligent detection.
